Homelike City Central Apartment with Excellent Location

Horrible Negative: The apartment was advertised as non-smoking and allergy friendly, however was anything but. The apartment was deeply dirty and reeked heavily of cigarette smoke. Needless to say, we were not able to stay nor wanted to stay, or got what we booked. We contacted the host, Shillinki Hosting Oy / Second homes Tampere immediately and they were completely unhelpful, offering us a late check-out as a solution. Left us on the street. After a long battle, the next day (we had booked 11 nights) they wanted to set us up with another apartment but of course not without hefty extra cost. Still battling to get our money back. Also be aware here, booking washes its hands of as soon as you inform them about a problem. They claim to be only a platform and therefore can't help.

Positive: Central location. Nearby main commercial avenue. Easy access to public transport. Negative: On the street outside the apartment there's a traffic light. When nighttime cars stop, the noise might be a tiny bit entertaining.
